The Custom DLL feature on our Windows Hosting Service will be deprecated on the 17th of November, 2009. On analyzing the Windows Hosting Product, it was found that the Custom DLL feature poses a security threat and could affect the stability of our services.
Impact: Since the usage of the Custom DLL feature across our platform is extremely minimal (less than 1%), there will not be a grave technical or commercial impact on your Windows Hosting offering.
- The Custom DLL feature will not be available on all Windows Hosting packages purchased after the 17th of November.
- Existing orders will not be affected by this deprecation.
- DotNet DLLs will not be affected by this change.
- The pre-installed DLLs that can be found here, will continue to be available after the deprecation.
As announced earlier, PHP4 will not be supported on our Linux Hosting Servers from the 18th of September, 2009.
We encourage our customers who had purchased Linux Web Hosting before 15th July, 2008 to update their websites to work with PHP5.
We would also like to notify you about an important difference between the configuration of PHP4 and PHP5 on our servers. For more details on this new configuration click here.
You are requested to use the rest of this time to make your applications suitable to run on the new PHP version as well as configuration i.e. PHP 5 in the CGI mode.
On the 12th of August, we shall discontinue the pro-rata system of billing for Hosting Packages.
Hosting orders then on will expire exactly 12 months from the day of purchase. For example, a package purchased on the 15th of August 2009, will directly expire on the 15th of August 2010.
Note: As per the pro-rata billing system, irrespective of the purchase date, the order would always expire on the first of the corresponding month and the billing adjusted accordingly. However, this pro-rata billing system will still continue to function for Dedicated IPs.
Unlimited Hosting @ 6.00 EUR/month
As you might be aware, our Unlimited Hosting comes with Yahoo Search Marketing Credit worth $50; unlimited email accounts, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited disk space and much more.
You can also bundle Dedicated IP/SSLs at just 2.00 EUR/month per Hosting Package.
To enable Dedicated IPs all you need to do is login to your Control Panel and follow the steps below.
- Search for the domain name for which you have purchased the hosting package and proceed to the Order Details
- Click the “Enable SSL (Dedicated IP) Support” button in the lower toolbar
- Click the “Confirm” button on the following page that displays your Cost Price
Dedicated IPs only adds to the competitive edge that you already have on account of our Unlimited Hosting Product.
Our new Unlimited Hosting Product @ 6.00 EUR/mo already went live.
All Web Hosting orders can now be renewed for 5.00 EUR/mo.

As mentioned in our previous post, we will be migrating all Email Hosting packages to the new Mail.pw infrastructure today, 2nd July ‘09. Please be informed that there will be no Downtime for this launch.
Mail.pw, is backed by powerful infrastructure to ensure enhanced redundancy and scalability. This marks the beginning of a series of updates at our end; Anti-spam and Anti-virus are also on cards. Rest assured, we will keep you updated with the developments on this front.

Order Addition and Renewal:
- All new orders will be added to the Mail.pw infrastructure thus directing all new orders to the Mail.pw interface.
- All Email Hosting orders can now be added or renewed for a minimum of one year and a maximum of ten years.
- Unlike previously, only a single Email Hosting order can be linked to a particular Domain.

- Aliases of new orders can now be managed only from the Mail.pw Control Panel. However, while Aliases for the older orders will continue to exist, you will not be able to add/delete/manage them.
