Scheduled Downtime – Managed DNS, 9 October 2008
The Managed DNS service will be undergoing maintenance as per the schedule and reasons mentioned below:
- Migration of our current DNS software Bind-dlz to the more powerful PowerDNS with custom optimizations.
- New scalable architecture
- Bug Fixes

Start Time: 5: 30 a.m GMT/ 11:00 a.m. IST
Estimated Downtime: 2 hrs 30 mins
During this downtime, you will neither be able to make modifications to the existing DNS records nor add new managed dns orders. However, there will be no issues with the DNS resolution.

The maintenance downtime has been completed. We had to revert back the changes due to some technical difficulties and will be scheduling another downtime for this once these issues have been identified.
